Carnegie Cooke & Company, Inc. (PINK SHEETS: CGKY - News) Carnegie Cooke & Co. Inc, is proud to announce that Richard C. Cummings has accepted the position as Business Development Strategist. Richard will be responsible strategic development, collaborating with Davenel Denis, Business Development Executive. He will incorporate his experience with pari-mutuel wagering systems and technology to develop an internet wagering and advance deposit wagering system as an extension of our operations in Brazil.
Richard C. Cummings has been involved in the pari-mutuel racing and wagering industry since 1971 and was co-founder of the Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) platform icanbet.com. From 1999 to the present, Mr. Cummings has served as President of The Cummings Group, a consulting firm to the gaming and pari-mutuel industries. From 1994 to 1999, Mr. Cummings served as President & Chief Operating Officer of Multnomah Greyhound Park in Portland, Oregon. He served from 1991 to 1994 as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Churchill Downs, in Louisville, Kentucky where he introduced whole card simulcasting (sending and receiving entire race cards for wagering purposes to and from other racetracks).
From 1990 to 1991, Mr. Cummings was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Hipodromo El Comandante, a thoroughbred racetrack located in suburban San Juan, Puerto Rico; and from 1986 to 1990, was President of Turfway Park, in Florence, Kentucky where, in 1988, Mr. Cummings introduced Inter Track Wagering. He has held other senior executive positions at The Meadowlands, East Rutherford, New Jersey; Garden State Park, Cherry Hill, New Jersey; and Philadelphia Park, Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
