About Carnegie Cooke & Company

Carnegie Cooke & Company, Inc. (CGKY.PK) is a media and distribution company within the Brazilian turf industry. Carnegie Cooke through its Brazilian operations is granted the right through its partnership with the Jockey Club of Campos and explicit authorization by the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture to distribute international simulcast racing throughout Brazil.

Our core competency is implementing & deploying the International Simulcast Signal, all content provided by our affiliate CBT, LLC.

In order to operate Betting Agency’s (OTB’s) in Brazil as a foreign company, we must have a relationship/agreement with a Brazilian jockey club.  In 2006 Carnegie Cooke extended the length of its exclusive agreement with the Jockey Club of Campos through 2013.  Carnegie Cooke maintains its relationship with the Jockey Club of Campos directly and also administratively through its Brazilian based subsidiary company.  This relationship permits Carnegie Cooke to open its own OTB’s within the greater state of Rio.  Carnegie Cooke is also permitted to deploy the International Simulcast Signal to existing OTB's/Accredited Agencies owned by a partner Jockey Club within the greater state of Rio allowing Carnegie Cooke to share in revenues generated in Brazilian (domestic) horse wagering at these Accreditied Agencies.

Carnegie Cooke held a grand opening in August 18th 2006, in the Campos Agency where it successfully deployed the international simulcast from over 10 United States racetracks for the first time. Effective in March 2007 the Campos Agency began accepting live wagering on Brazilian (domestic) horse races.
